Three pregnant women practice prenatal yoga at Full Circle Yoga KC

I loved taking prenatal yoga with Jenny throughout my pregnancy. As a yoga novice, Jenny made me feel comfortable and welcome from the beginning. Jenny prioritizes getting to know her students and follows along with their pregnancies. Her class is a great balance of relaxation and challenge, an hour to re-center and connect with baby and my body, to take care of myself physically and mentally. I highly recommend Jenny’s class to any expectant mother, regardless of previous yoga experience.

-Christie

I had the pleasure of taking prenatal yoga with Jenny with my first baby last year. Her classes were my favorite part of my weeks! I loved the supportive and inclusive attitude she provided in the classes and I also loved how relaxed I felt afterwards. I do believe she helped train my body and mind for delivery. I certainly plan on taking prenatal yoga with her again if and when we have our second baby.

-Laura

Yoga with Jenny has been a lifesaver for me for my first pregnancy, and now my second! She is very supportive. My favorite part of her class is how she lets us know how each pose can help us outside of class, whether for aches and pains, or for during labor. I really do think the breathing techniques I learned in class are what got me through labor with my first baby. I was able to concentrate on myself and baby at home and only labored a short while in the hospital.

There was no question I would return with my second pregnancy. Jenny creates such a relaxing atmosphere in class, I would look forward to it every week. This baby was transverse for a bit. Jenny gave me some ideas to get her to move in the right direction. Don’t know what did it exactly, but baby moved head down on her own! I am now 39 weeks and just waiting for this little one to finish cooking!

Private Yoga Testimonials

Jenny Hellman gives a prenatal yoga student a massage during savasana

My wife and I used Jenny during our last pregnancy. She did yoga for us once a week and it was wonderful. She even did some more difficult modified things for me since I was doing it with my wife. I can say it was a great workout for both of us and a wonderful experience. Would do it again in a heartbeat. Thanks Jenny!

-Caleb

Jenny led my husband and I in prenatal yoga practice with my third pregnancy and it was life changing! The aches and pains were minimal during my pregnancy. My mind was grounded. My husband also enjoyed the practice and was a great bonding activity for my husband, baby, and I. She came to my home and if my other 2 children were running around then she would include them as well and it was wonderful! Jenny has a real gift and talent with yoga and she makes me want to have another baby so we could do prenatal yoga together again!

Jenny is so passionate about the wellness of families and communities. She is a caring, compassionate and knowledgeable teacher. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

“Big Baby” Conversations: What You Need to Know

“Big Baby” Conversations: What You Need to Know

It’s not uncommon during pregnancy to hear your provider say, “Your baby might be big.” These words can stir up worry, confusion, and even shift how your birth plan is discussed. Often, this estimation comes from an ultrasound, growth scan, or a physical exam (palpation). But here’s something important to remember: these methods are not […]

Camp, Connection, and Navigating Transitions

As the days ticked down to taking my daughter to camp, I noticed a familiar flutter of anxiety building in my chest. She’s been to camp before, but this year felt different—bigger. Two full weeks away. Twelve hours from home. A whole new state. I can keep myself busy for five days, sure… but twelve? […]
